Powers' Rankings: Week 7
There's already been 3 weekly records set this season and three 10-0 blow outs. And we're only 6 weeks through. The Jets have won a game, but the Poo extend their unbeaten streak. In each of the past two seasons, Weymouth didn't run into their first loss until Week 9. Let's see how the ladder stands on the rungs below the Poo....
Powers' Rankings: Week 7

1
| 1 | 1 | Weymouth Shaddupu | |||||
Overall | 6-0-0 |
Regular season unbeaten streak now sits at 13 straight. Week 16 is when the Poo could tie the record, and the match up: The Weasels, who currently hold the record at 23 straight.

Overall | 4-2-0 |
Three players have contributed over half of all their homeruns on the season (Martinez, Machado, Davis). It would be a shame if something were to happen to one of them. (Luckily, none of them work for Weymouth, so they should be safe)

You gotta take advantage when you can. A 10-0 win in Tokyo and then headed to Brazil for some relaxation should get them well rested for their matchup vs the Poo.

In each of the Weasel's wins Didi Gregorius hit at least 3 home runs. In each of their non-wins Didi hit 0 homeruns. Coincidence?

Well look who decided to join the party? The Piglets are taking advantage of their basement shopping deals. The combined winning percentage of their Week 5 through Week 9 match ups is .431.

Anyone else wondering how Jason Kipnis still has a job while Trevor Story continues to be stuck in the ESSEC? What type of blackmail does he have over the Dublin ownership? #FreeStory

The Doggs are tied for 3rd place in team batting average - with a .266 average. That doesn't seem very good.

Is this finally the year the Hispanics actually use their minor league picks instead of trading them all away? The last MiDraft pick the Hispanics made was Mike Olt, with the 8th overall pick in 2012.

Ouch. Is this why there's less smack talk in this league lately? Everyone's afraid of backfiring and then having to explain to their fans how they lost to the Jets?

All they had to do to get bumped up over Rakeville was not get shut out 10-0. Sigh.

Not to be outdone, the Cristos get their first win of the season a week after the Jets. Luckily for them I skipped this column last week, so they don't get to see themselves on the 12-hole of these rankings.

That win over Rakeville puts them on pace for a total of 150 losses, which would tie the league record, and a .250 winning percentage - 34 points lower than the current record. That's with 10 less games than the current record holder played.
