Powers' Rankings: Week 8

We're a third of a way through the 2018 season, and no one is terribly surprised at the overall standings thus far. What is surprising is the examples of utter domination that has been on display from week to week. Just 7 weeks though we've witnessed four separate 10-0 wins by three separate teams. More importantly we've seen four separate 0-10 losses by FOUR separate teams - you have to go back to 2003 to find a year that had that many different teams to register the 0-10 loss in the same season. The most 10-0 wins the league has witnessed in a single season was 2007 when there was 6. The league has never seen more than 2 perfect games in the first 3rd of the season (2016). Is this a a fluke, or a sign of things to come for the remainder of the season? The only thing to know for sure is Rakeville picked the wrong season to be this bad.

Even when they're bad, the Poo find a way to win. With season low W, RBI, and team AVG, Weymouth still finds a way to sweep the 5 offensive categories against the Weasels. They are now 25-10 overall across offensive categories.

Powers' Rankings: Week 7

There's already been 3 weekly records set this season and three 10-0 blow outs. And we're only 6 weeks through. The Jets have won a game, but the Poo extend their unbeaten streak. In each of the past two seasons, Weymouth didn't run into their first loss until Week 9. Let's see how the ladder stands on the rungs below the Poo....

Three players have contributed over half of all their homeruns on the season (Martinez, Machado, Davis). It would be a shame if something were to happen to one of them. (Luckily, none of them work for Weymouth, so they should be safe)
