Powers' Rankings: Week 21
It's just about over. A couple loose ends to tie up and we're off to the playoffs. 5 teams have their tickets booked already, with one seat still open. Only two match ups are really worth watching closely this week: San Juan vs Bridgewater and Rakeville vs San Fernando Valley (for completely different reasons). Click below for a closer breakdown of where all the teams stand after 20 weeks of battle.

Tijuana
Hispanics Overall 11-4-5 Last Five 3-1-1 Magic Number Playoffs: Clinched Division: 6 Top Seed: 9 |
Tijuana clinches their first playoff spot since 2014 and should be doing so from the top of the heap. With a match up against tanking Rio, the Hispancis should be enjoying two bye weeks in a row.

Weymouth
Shaddupu Overall 14-4-2 Last Five 4-0-1 Magic Number Playoffs: Clinched Division: 1 |
Weymouth actually is within spitting distance of the top overall seed, but it really comes down to match ups. As the 2 seed they'll face off against QC/SJ/TKO/BRW. The top seed will likely see SD/LV in the 2nd round - not that Shaddypoo cares who they face at this point.

Santo Domingo
All-Star Factory Overall 10-7-3 Last Five 3-1-1 Magic Number Playoffs: Clinched |
Santo Domingo can't finish lower than 5th, and seem destined to face off against Las Vegas in the first round. Consider their match up against Dublin a sort of "bye week" as they prepare for the playoffs.

Doggs Overall 9-8-3 Last Five 4-1-0 Magic Number Playoffs: Clinched |
Well, that was embarassing. After a string of blow outs, the Doggs bats went cold agaist the Weasels setting up a formality of a match up against rival Shaddupu. A 9-0-1 victory gives them a bye, anything short probably keeps them in the 4th of 5th seed.

Piglets Overall 10-8-2 Last Five 2-3-0 Magic Number Playoffs: Clinched |
The Piglets sit confortably in the 3rd seed and would be expected to be playing next week with Tijuana facing off against tanking Rio. If they want to face off against Tokyo two weeks in a row they have the control to help make it happen with a strategic loss in the final week.

San Juan
Guerites Overall 8-10-2 Last Five 3-2-0 Magic Number Playoffs: 6 |
If they weren't facing off against the team most directly challenging them we'd say their playoff spot was a formality. As it stands, if the Weasels can find a way to beat San Juan by a score of 7-3 or better the Guerites will be sitting on the outskirts without Rafeal Dever to help dry their tears.

Bridgewater
Weasels Overall 7-10-3 Last Five 2-1-2 Cursed Number Playoffs: 6 |
The Weasels weren't that good last week, but luckily the Doggs were bad enough to help bump Bridgewater up. They face off against the only team that could lose their playoff spot, making this the match up to watch.

Omyoujis Overall 9-9-2 Last Five 0-4-1 Cursed Number Playoffs: 6 |
The robots are almost out of juice. As the streakiest team in the league, they picked a bad time to string together 5 winless weeks. A lot will need to go right against the Piglets for Tokyo to keep playing next week.

Snake Chasers Overall 8-8-4 Last Five 1-3-1 Cursed Number Playoffs: 3 |
The pre-season favorites to win it all looks to be left on the outside by this time next week. It was said the Chasers had a chance if they were willing to make the moves necessary to win - obviously they still aren't.

Rakeville
Rockets Overall 8-9-3 Last Five 2-3-0 Cursed Number Playoffs: Eliminated #2 MaDP: 6.5 |
If they do the right thing and attempt to beat San Fernando 9-1 they'll surely lose out on the 2nd overall MaDP to Rio de Janeiro, but they'll be able to say they helped solidify the Jets as the worst team ever. Some decisions are not meant to be made lightly.

Cristos Overall 6-8-6 Last Five 1-2-2 Cursed Number Playoffs: 2 |
It took the Cristos a while to get going, but they've really mastered this whole tankings thing. They've gone 1-17-2 in their last two weeks and they'll look to solidify a top 3 pick in the 2018 MaDraft with their match up this week as Tijuana tries to sure up the 1st round playoff bye.

Jets Overall 2-17-1 Last Five 0-4-1 Cursed Number Playoffs: Eliminated #1 MaDP: Clinched Worst Winning % Record: 9 |
Going into the final week the Jets still have a chance to make waves - as the worst team in the history of the EHCC. Can they pull it off? It'll all depend how badly Rakeville wants that #2 pick.
