Powers' Rankings: Week 15
We sit just two match ups away from the EHCC (non-waiver) Trade Deadline, the field is no more clear than it has ever been throughout the season. Teams at the top all season (SJ, WEY) have faltered recently, while teams at the bottom (RAK, SD, TKO) show spurts of life. Tijuana may be the most consistent team in the league (not a typo). Where does your team rank headed into this important time of the season? Click below to find out.

Quebec City
Piglets Overall 7-5-2 Last Five 4-1 |
Holding onto the top spot two weeks in a row, and now with the actual top spot in the standings sits Quebec City. In their last 5 wins they've only given up two offensive points. Granted, two of those wins came against San Fernando, but who's tracking?

Shaddupu Overall 10-4-0 Last Five 2-3-0 |
With Mike Trout on his way back soon, and Cody Bellinger is fighting tooth and nail against Aaron Judge for EHCC Rookie of the Year honors, the Poo should solidify their Eastern Standing in the coming weeks. I mean, is there anyone who's actually going to give them any competition in that division anyway?

Hispanics Overall 7-3-4 Last Five 2-1-2 |
The question remains whether they will they seize their opportunity in the next two weeks before the trade deadline. (It would also be funny to see Jim Johnson, Bud Norris, and both Mauer and Hand get traded in real life, leaving them worthless in the Tijuana bullpen. No, not funny? Well I'm laughing)

Santo Domingo
All-Star Factory Overall 6-6-2 Last Five 3-0-2 |
Undefeated in their past 5 (granted, two ties), but in that time only one of those wins came off a team currently above .500. The All-Star Factory have the most momentum coming out of the break, it'll be interesting to see how that helps them in the next few match ups including QC, WEY, and TIJ.

Rockets Overall 6-5-3 Last Five 2-1-2 |
The Rockets were shooting up these rankings up until the break. They couldn't quite hold onto their lead over Santo Domingo, ending in a 5-5 tie, where they actually took more pitching categories than hitting. They have a tough couple weeks ahead of them, but may have the easiest end of the season schedule of any team in the hunt.

Did Tokyo get better...perhaps. Will it be enough to push them over the edge and get their name on the plaque? Perhaps not, but there's still 2 more weeks before the deadline and now that everyone knows how to contact the robot overlords, we may see some action from Japan yet.

Snake Chasers Overall 6-5-3 Last Five 2-3-0 |
Don't sleep on Dublin. They may have been sleeping on themselves, but they can beat any team in a one-week match up as long as they pay attention. That part is key. In other words, if you can get them drunk enough - all week - you'll be fine. If they're sober, watch out.

"I did nothing wrong" - GM Howe Dogg stated to reporters after the MiDraft concluded. Rumors have Joey Votto being shopped around now as well. Is the complete rebuild finally happening in Vegas?

Cristos Overall 5-6-3 Last Five 2-3-0 |
It's gotta be lonely being the only one in your division to not be in line for a playoff spot. Things aren't scheduled to get easier for Rio, as they face off against WEY next, and end with a 5 game road trip against all the teams above them in the Western Division.

Rumblings of shaking things up came from San Juan weeks ago, but nothing happened and here we are. Trending downwards leading to the trade deadline. A once certain buyer is as close to a guaranteed seller as anyone else. Pending a miraculous showing against Quebec City and Dublin the next two weeks.

Weasels Overall 5-8-1 Last Five 2-3-0 |
Ok, they're in 11th place. That doesn't seem good, but the silver lining is this year is unlike any other we've seen. 11th place only sits 5.5 games back from the 6th seed so strangely enough playoffs are still within their reach - as long as others ahead of them falter a bit.

Jets Overall 2-12-0 Last Five 1-4-0 |
OK, so San Fernando isn't technically mathematically removed from playoff contention yet, but his "cursed" number is just 41 heading into Week 15. That's the number of losses they would need to clinch the bottom seed. With 7 weeks remaining, we're pretty confident they can hit that target.
