EHCC 2013 Performance ⅓

We’re one third of the way through the fantasy regular season and you all know what that means… Graph time!

Just as a recap: The following data has been compiled by placing our weekly head-to-head roto data into a weekly straight roto format. IE, each point category has been ranked 1-12 (12 being the best) on a weekly basis. This is intended to present a clearer picture of your team's actual performance this season as it matches all teams against each other for each week rather than up against just one other team.

The top weekly scorer so far has been The Las Vegas Doggs who scored 100 points in week 3. The low weekly scorers was The Rio Cristos who scored 28 points in week 2.

Also, the below chart gives you your average total points scored so far in the season. If your weekly average rank is lower than your actual yahoo rank than you've been statistically lucky and vice-versa. Going forward regression towards the mean is likely. Meaning that the larger the sample size gets the more likely your 'total rank' and actual yahoo rank will be the same. By the numbers the most lucky team so far has been The Tijuana Hispanics (+3) and the least lucky team has been The Weymouth Shaddupu (-6).

The purpose of this is to spur activity. We’re a third of the way in and the numbers are starting to mean something. Is your team just off to a cold start? Or is it just not that good? Do your numbers match your mind’s view of your team? Do you need to have a “sit down” with your mind and go over the numbers?

There's an old saying in baseball that it takes a third of season to figure out you really have, a third of a season to fix it and a third of a season to see what happens. Well, we're a third of the way through the 2013 fantasy baseball season and the results are in. Whatcha gonna do?
