EHCC 2012 Performance 2/3

The second third of the fantasy baseball season has been completed and numbers are in.

Again, the following data has been compiled by placing our weekly head-to-head roto data into a weekly straight roto format. IE, each point category has been ranked 1-12 (12 being the best) on a weekly basis. The below chart gives you your average hitting, pitching and total points scored for the second third of the season and a +/- of your total rank this third compared to your total rank in the first third. Positive (green) numbers indicate improvement.

We’re only two thirds of the way through the season but all 6 playoff spots have seemingly been spoken for. While the exact seeding will be hotly contested in the next 7 weeks, it seems unlikely that any team 7-12 will be able to make the jump to the promise land. The team with the best shot of making the leap, team 7 QCP, is 11.5 games out and has already raised the white flag by going into rebuilding mode prior to the mi draft. Team 8, Augusta has been much improved over the second third but finds himself 14 games out of a playoff spot. That just may be too much to overcome.

Now that the results are in and the trade deadline isn’t far off. The buyers and sellers are clearly defined. What do you need to take home the championship?
